Navy minesweeper captures French trawler.: The French trawler Virgo Maria, which evaded the British fishery vessel H.M.S. Belton on Tuesday despite blank shots being fired across its bows, was captured by the Belton last night after the minesweeper had some across the trawler ii miles off the Kent seas. After a chase a Navy party bearded the trawler and both vessels made their way back to Dover, where the Virgo Maria lies under arrest with a Royal Navy armed guard on beard.
