Trafalgar Square Christmas Tree Switched On: The traditional lighting up of the Norwegian Christmas Tree took place in Trafalgar Square last night. The tree is 70ft high, and is decorated with 650 white lights and they were switched on by Crown Princess Sonja of Norway. Her country has given the tree to London ~ever since the end of the war. Photo shows: The tree all light up in Trafalgar Square last night.
