ENGLISH GIRL KILLED NEAR ARLES A BODY OF A YOUNG WOMAN FOUND IN THE RIVER RHONE 225 KILLS FROM AVIGNON. THE GIRL WAS WEARING BRITISH-MADE CLOTHES. HER KILLER HAD STABBED HER TWICE IN THE BACK AND MEN SLASHED HER THROAT. The girl is believed TO BE THE 21-YEAR OLD STUDENT ALEXANDRA MITCHELL WHO VANISHED ON A CYCLE TOUR OF SOUTHERN FRANCE. HER PARENTS, MR. AND MRS. W.B.MITCHELL OF STRATHBLANE, GLASGOW ARRIVED IN MARSEILLES TODAY. THEY WILL BE PRESENT WHEN THE COFFIN WILL BE EXHUMED FROM A LOCAL CEMETERY BY ORDER OF A MAGISTRATE TOMORROW. OPS: MR. AND MRS. MITCHELL PICTURED AS THEY LEFT IN A CAR AFTER AN INTERVIEW WITH THE POLICE SUPERINTENDENT IN MARSEILLES YESTERDAY.
