Uproar at today's special meeting of the Pergamon Press Shareholders: Mr. Robert Maxwell, millionaire Labour MP and head of the Pergamon Press Publishing empire, causes a sensation at the shareholder's meeting at the Connaught R~~m~, London, today, when he revealed that the merchant bankers H.M. Rothschild, acting for Lease Data Processing of America, had obtained an injunction to prevent him from, adjourning the meeting. The meeting had been called to vote on resolutions proposed by Pergamon Press to confirm Mr. Maxwell as the leas, but counter-proposals by Rothschild sought to remove the whole Pergamon board and substitute Leases men. Photo shows Mr. Robert Maxwell, holds up the injunction for the shareholders to see during today's meeting.
