Description
Caption: In this issue: WJR's J.P. McCarthy has as many fans as-well, as Free Press columnist Bob Talbert. On page 6 Talbert returns to the pages of Detroit Magazine after several years' absence with a look at J.P., his cohort Hal Youngblood and the famous folks who've appeared on their "Focus" program. Then we celebrate George Washington's birthday with Frederick John's collection of old George jokes on page 16. On page 18 we offer FUTURETHINK '79 t: test your powers of prediction - and maybe win a nice prize for doing it. On page 20 Patricia Chargot looks toward the future of Detroit's riverfront with city planner Harriet Saperstein.
