Description
Caption: GRIPE SESSION Farmer Brigido Geronmi clasps arm of President Ramon Magsaysay of the Philippines during interview in which Geronmi complained about certain government cotton policies. The picture was taken during recent presidential inspection tour of Mindanao Island. The scene exemplifies Magsaysay's stress on personalized administration. In and out of his office, Magsaysay will readily listen to people's troubles, major or minor. "I consider it my duty to attend to every man who comes before me," the president says. 1974-rjc/15/10/56 str-asian sil-139.
