Los Angeles, Calif. - Police, summoned by neighbors, burst into the Hollywood home of Polly Moran, film actress, this morning, from possibly shooting her to death, it was reported. Arresting officers claimed that Malone was threatening Polly Moran with a pistol and had pulled the trigger several times, but had failed to carry out his expressed intention of hilling her and himself, in a wild drunken fury. A cartridge in the weapon jammed, police said.
