Caption: The Most Rev. Edmund Szoka, archbishop of Detroit, Monday dedicated the diocesan Pastoral Telecommunications Center, which boadcasts local and national programming on 28 local cable systems. Archbishop Szoka, chairman of the Catholic Television Network of America for the national bishops' conference, called Detroit the technological communications leader among Roman Catholic dioceses nationwide. The new center is downtown, with a satellite dish at Sacred Heart Seminary.
