1967 Press Photo Sir Francis Chichester knighthood

Caption: Sir Francis Chichester, Britain's solo seafarer is to receive knighthood from Queen Elizabeth on June 2 at the Naval College in honer for his 28,500-mile round the world voyage. The Same sword used by the first Queen Elizabeth to bestow knighthood on Sir Francis Drake, an earlier English Seafarer will be used in the ceremony.
